The story of Tour Gros Morne began back in 2015, when Ian and Rebecca started Taste of Gros Morne to offer food tours to help visitors explore the flavours of Gros Morne. They wanted people to experience the food culture, stories and traditions that make western Newfoundland unique.

As food tours grew, Ian and Rebecca decided to create Tour Gros Morne, a company focused on sharing the region beyond food through small group hiking and cultural experiences that connect people to the place. Tour Gros Morne quickly became known for its thoughtful, low-impact approach to guiding in Gros Morne National Park. Guests have the opportunity to learn about the geology, wildlife, communities, and traditions from the people who live here.

 

As they spent more time guiding visitors, it became clear that the region was missing an eco-focused accommodation that shared the same values they were offering during the tours. So they built Gros Morne Inn; a place where people can stay, eat and explore Gros Morne National Park.
