GUIDED SIGNATURE DAY HIKES
Join us on a memorable hiking experience in Gros Morne National Park
This is a full-day, guided hike to your choice of one of the amazing and challenging peaks in the park. Experience views like no other in this UNESCO World Heritage site. If you like being challenged and enjoy a full day of physical activity in a uniquely beautiful environment, this is the tour for you!
Important to note: These are full-day (5 to 9 hours), moderate and challenging hikes. The terrain varies from scree (small, loose stones that form or cover a slope on a mountain) to loose stones, rocks, bogs, fields, and forests. You must be in good physical shape and have experience with hiking in order to fully take part.
The day starts off with your guide meeting you at your accommodations, or the Norris Point or Woody Point Waterfront. They’ll have your packed lunches and hiking poles with them. The day concludes with your guide returning you to your meeting point and offering up some suggestions on where to enjoy a well-earned celebratory meal. Please see the descriptions below for the day hikes that are offered:
Dates: May 15 - October 25. Start at 9 am and end at 5 pm.
Includes ground transportation, a fully certified guide with interpretation, hiking poles and a reusable water bottle.
Private tour (1-5 people):
- $495.00 plus 15% HST for the group. Max 5 persons, ideal for families
- This tour will not be split with other clients. You and your group will be the only party.
- Packed lunches available for an extra fee of $25 per person
- Water taxi ($20 per person, return) required if guests are coming from the north side to the south side of the park or vice versa
Private Group tour (6-10 people):
- $110.00 plus 15% HST per person
- For your own group of more than 6 to a maximum of 10 persons
- Packed lunches available for an extra fee of $25 per person
- Water taxi ($20 per person, return) required if guests are coming from the north side to the south side of the park or vice versa.
